Advent & Adventure:
Tapestry, Tunes, and Epic Tales.

Join a capella singing group Partsong and internationally-acclaimed composer and poet Martin Kiszko for an evening of music and poetry featuring the performance of his poem ‘Bayeux Tapestry - The Epic Poem’ - the world’s first epic poem about the world’s most famous tapestry. Martin’s event returns to Bristol for this advent special after successful performances in Reading and Hastings.
Beginning in the Grade 1 listed Redland chapel for music from Partsong that includes a new commission composed by Martin, we will then have seasonal refreshments in the Redland church hall (included in the ticket price) before Martin gives an illustrated talk on the history, narrative, and enduring mysteries of the tapestry.
Signed copies of Martin’s new book ‘Bayeux Tapestry - The Epic Poem’ are available on the night.
